Tino Väinämöinen never had a very normal life. He had more of a abnormal life to be quite frank, being followed by his large friend Berwald, being scared to no end, and trying to get along with his friends from Scandinavia. They had many good times together, but he never felt truly part of them. He loved them, for sure, but he also felt lonely. He enjoyed Berwald's company, but sometimes he needed alone time. Even happy men like him need time alone.

Tino was very popular when he returned to Finland to see his friends, especially from lots of young women. He didn't remember most of them but many said they saw him in school or they had classes together. He smiled and nodded with either "wow, thats great!" or a "I hope we see each other more often!" before heading back to his apartment. He wouldn't be in Finland for long sadly, he had to return to Berwald and his friends. Some matters about Lukas and Emil possibly being brothers was causing a great stir in their friendship. Emil just got the results yesterday and wouldn't say them until Tino returned from his trip, so Lukas had been pressuring Tino to come back early, much to his displeasure.

He wanted to stay longer, by why? He had no real reason to accept to be alone. And he didn't like to be alone for long.

A loud ringing sound emerged from the Finnish man's coat pocket while he was making his way up his apartment steps. He lived on the top floor, with a large window the a perfect view of the outside world. He fumbled with the keys trying to hurry in the house in order to answer the phone. He finally entered with a grunt and picked up the buzzing phone.

"Hallo?"

"Tino." Berwald's broad voice cracked through bad reception. "Come home."

"W-what?" he mumbled rubbing his head. "I-I am..soon."

"Lukas is getting hectic." Berwald replied flatly. "Come home."

"I will. Soon."

"Hmm." the Swedish man grunted before saying a quick 'goodbye' and hanging up.

Tino sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. How did he even manage to get away from all that? Luck. Pure luck.

His head faced the large window outseeing the wonderful world. It was so close he could almost touch it. He smiled.

"At least they want me to be there." he said to himself with reassurance.
He picked up his phone and checked for the next train heading for the airport.

"I'll go tomorrow."

A loud buzzing noise awoke the handsome Finnish man from his sleep, waking up with a large yawn and a few stretches.

"Hallo?"

"Finny." it was Lukas. He liked to call Tino 'Finny' because of his Finnish heritage, which was quite alright with him.

"Ya? Lukas?" he questioned until the same voice interrupted him.

"Come. Home. We're all waiting."

Tino felt another sigh errupting before giving a faint smile.

"Of course. I'm taking a train to the airport today. I'll be home in no time!"

There was a grunt, which was typical of Lukas, then he hung up. Lukas was worse than Berwald sometimes.

A few moments of lying in bed made Tino start to tear up. He didn't want to leave yet. He'd only been there for a few days. Why were they forcing him back already? Oh yeah, for their own personal well-being. He was a kind and generous man, but he did have his own intentions.

Tino sighed for perhaps the ninth time now, and hopped out of bed. He quickly changed and examined himself in the mirror. He looked alright, though his sad eyes gave away his unhappiness.

It didn't matter anyway, he'd be fine by the time he got home.

Making his way to the train station, he noticed a small (f/c) wallet lying on the ground. He picked it up and checked for ID to perhaps find who it belonged to. There was a few pieces of ID, all with the picture of a pretty face with nice (hair/c) and lovely (eye/c). He smiled at the face. He wanted to find this person. He wanted to see them smile.

He took the wallet and went in search of this lovely-looking person, but couldnt' find the right match. He sighed and decided to turn it to the police.

As he strode towards two officers standing now far away he heard a faint shouting.

"HEY!" but he ignored it. There were plenty of people at this station, that voice could be yelling at anyone.

"YOU THERE!"

There it was again. It was closer...

"BLOND HAIR! BLUE JACKET!"

Tino stopped in his tracks. W-was it...HIS blue jacket?!

"HAH!"

He snapped his head back to see a young girl panting and out of breath. She looked....like the person in the wallet he found.

"Y-you have my wallet!" she snapped "Theif!!"

"W-wait!" Tino exclaimed, "this isn't what you think it is!"

"Theif theif!!" she shouted loudly before Tino found himself covering her mouth with his hand. She shut up instantly.

"Here." he said softly. "I was going to hand it in because I couldn't find..well..you."

Her eyes widened, "R-really?"

He gave her one of his amazing smiles.

"Truly."

She blushed a little feeling nervous and emberassed.

"I-I'm sorry..."

"Tino."

"huh?"

"My name is Tino."

"Oh.." her blush went a little darker, "I'm (Name)."

The sound of the train whistle shocked Tino.

"Oh I have to go!" he cried nervously.

"W-wait!" she called grabbing his hand, "Which train are you on?"

"Heh?" he asked shocked, before coming to his scences. "This one here..."

She looked down at what appeared to be her train ticket.

"....me too."

Tino smiled.

"Well, lets go!" he took her hand, watching as she blushed even more, and ran with her up to the train.

For some reason, it felt like some movie scene to him. She was such a beauty and he felt almost tangled in her sweet smile and stunning presence.

Once they boarded the train he still had her hand, pulling her with him to his seat.

"Where do you sit?" he asked quickly.

"Seat...47." she said coldly. Tino's eyes dropped. He was seat 58.

"I'll sit with you anyway." she grinned. "If anyone sits here I'll trade tickets with them."

Tino's mouth opened a little.

"T-that okay?! To do that?"

She laughed a little.

"I'll just say I was lost."

          "So where are you from?"

"Well..Finland, and you?"

"(country of birth)."

Tino smiled.

"Your so pretty, (Name)."

He felt her shift and a blush crept to her cheeks.

"Oh-gosh! Did I say that alloud?!" Tino covered his mouth as (Name) began to laugh.

"Well..Tino..you are very..handsome." she was still laughing, just a little more nervously.

But he didn't mind. He never felt so close with someone he'd hardly met..not like this. It wasn't usual to meet someone like that..but he didn't care.

They spoke more, back and forth laughing and talking for nearly the entire ride.
For a few hours Tino felt (Name)'s head resting on his shoulder which made him smile sweetly. What was this? Weren't they just strangers? How could two people meet and connect so fast?

"Tino?"

His eyes fluttered open to see a sad look on (Name)'s face.

"This is my stop.."

"Huh?"

He looked around, noticing fewer people then the time they boarded the train. Did he pass the airport?!

"Where are we?" he asked with a moan, still feeling tired and his head hurt from the horrible position he had been sleeping in.

"I'm meeting a friend in a town nearby." (Name) said with a smirk. "But I don't think your getting off here."

"N-no." Tino mumbled sadly. His head lowered to the floor until (Name)'s soft hand lifted his chin to meet her gaze.

"Well, I'll find a way to see you again." she said with a toothy grin.

Tino felt his heart sink. She had to go already?...

He felt something soft press against his cheek and (Name) blushing again.

"It was nice to meet you.." she giggled, watching Tino's face heart up like a frying pan.

After she exited the train, Tino sat up straight in his seat.

Did he miss her already?

He could have stopped her..found a way to meet again.

But he didn't...

why?

Tino returned to his friends the next day, much to their surprize. Lukas was so eager he almost broke Mathias's neck, and Berwald gave Tino a bone-crushing hug.
Emil and Lukas turned out to be brothers..much to Emil's dismany and Lukas's gain. But throughout that time, Tino never stopped thinking about the passenger he met on the train. He missed her so much. She was so nice and happy like he was. Why didn't fate have them be together?

"Guys." he finally said calmly. "I'm going back to Finland in a few weeks."

He felt all eyes staring at him....glaring at him. Especially the man beside him.
"Tino..you just got home." Berwald said gruffly. "Why do you need to go back again? Did you forget something?"

"No, no." Tino laughed. "I just miss it."

"Well you can't go back now." Emil muttered. "Like Berwald said, you just got here."

"You have to help me get Emil to call me big brother." Lukas replied getting a harsh look from his 'brother'.

Tino sighed. This is why he wanted to stay longer.

A year had passed since a young Finnish man returned to his hometown. Now he was back again. He would be back for a longer time. After months of urging his friends to let him leave again, he was free. Free from Berwald, the brother, the Dane, everything. There was still one thing on his mind. (Name).

He paced around the city, for some reason thinking you would still be here. He wouldn't find you. It was hopeless.

Until.

He saw you sitting alone through the window of a coffee shop. Had his dreams come true?! He grinned and let out a sigh of relief. His quest had been complete..or so he thought..

Before he gripped the handle of the door, he watched as someone took a seat next to you, handing her a coffee. It wasn't a 'friend', it was a man.
She flashed him a smile before taking his hand. Tino watched him kiss her cheek as she giggled and fake pushed him away.

This is what he waited for?

He tried to hide his face in his scarf before turning and walking back to his apartment, to hide the tears that were about to fall.

He should have said something the day you got off the train. He should have returned sooner. Then maybe she wouldn't have found someone else.

Maybe the passenger he met would have been forever his.
PREPARE YOURSELF for a sad ending....
