Gilbert glanced around again before pulling up his hood. Today was the day, or so he hoped. The day he would put things right, and no longer be seen as a threat. Once he entered the castle, he wouldn't leave until Ludwig was dead, even it he didn't make it out. He felt a light hand grasp his shoulder, before turning to see Marco with a worried look on his face.
"Are you sure tonight is the night?" he asked, hoping to reasure his friend before he went and did something crazy.
"Zis is the night." Gilbert gave a sarcastic laugh. "If I wait any longer they'll be no reason to leave."
Marco knew he was serious, yet still felt concerned.
"Will you reagin the throne..after?"
There a short pause before Gilbert cleared his throat.
"I don't know."
Within moments, he had faded into the wind. Marco watched in awe, still worried, but also filled with hope that his friend would return.

(Your name) panted harshly, not daring to look around the corner for the man coming after her. She knew it would happen, but not as fast as she thought. Trying to catch her breath, she slowly crawled under the table, trying as hard as she could not to make any sudden movements and accidentally knock against a chair. The footsteps were getting closer, until they stopped once they entered the room. There was complete silence, until the more pit-pattering of feet, and sounds of clanging metal grew louder. She decided to take this as a chance, and made her way under the table faster, not even caring if a chair bumped or fell over. Once the banging of metal finally stopped, she could hear the king yelling at them angrily, as if he knew she had gotten away. (Your name) grapsed the long cut along her leg from his attack at the start of the evening. It was beginning to bleed again. Wanting to cry and hold her children, she closed her eyes and whispered for her husband to come back. Minutes passed and nothing happened. Feeling like she'd been sitting their for hours, the angry shouts ceased, and she knew he'd be after her again. Getting up still clutching her heavy wound, and limping over to the china cabinet. Having an idea in mind, she looked for the nearest exit. When she spotted an open door, with all her might she pulled the china cabinet over. After the ringing faded in her ears, she raced over to the open door and slammed it behind her. A few tears rolled down her eyes as she finally wrapped some of her ripped shirt over her wound. The pain began to throb in her leg, but at least it stopped the bleeding, however it didn't take long for the red to seep through the torn clothing. She could hear shouts and cries coming from the other side, and the king's voice raising. There was the slight cry of a baby, and (Your name) nearly screamed out for her child. Waiting a few moments, the shouts died down, and only the king's voice was heard.
"Come out (Your name)~" he sang softly, the baby's voice booming through the halls again.
"If you want to see your child again."
(Your name) opened the door slightly to see king Lugwig standing in the opposite direction, holding (d/n) in his arm. She was wailing and crying, while (s/n) was being held back. Knowing what would happen to her children if she didn't, (Your name) cralwed out of her hiding place, tears rolling down her eyes knowing he'd won. A few guards pointed her out and the king laughed merrily, and deeply. Passing (d/n) to a guard and telling him to take them away, (Your name) watching as the king picked her up and smiled deviously.
"We have to finish what we started (Your name)~"

Anger, that’s all you managed to feel as you slowly used your trembling hands to wipe off the salty tears that ran down your cheeks.
You looked numbly at the scene that unfolded before you. The town you grew up in, once cheery and peaceful, was now submerged in a deathly silence. The chatty markets overflowed with eager merchants that pulled clients onto their respective stands sweet talking them into buying their goods, were now lonely and messy. The stands deprived of anything tho

You were walking home from the store in your (f/c) dress, humming a song that you loved. It was a nice summer day out. Not to hot nor humid. There was even a gentle breeze! You were getting to the chorus of the song when your phone rang in your purse. Moving the bag you held to your right hand, you took your phone out of your purse to see a picture of you and your hubby. Gilbert was calling.
You two have been married, yes, MARRIED, for almost a whole year now. And there was no doubt that you were still in the newlywed/ honeymoon stage. No matter what, if
