"(Name), I wouldn't try it." your Danish friend Matias laughed, while chugging down the last bit of beer in his mug. "He doesn't care."

"Of course he will!" you protested, clicking to the site you were looking at before.
Matias just laughed again, and continued his way into the kitchen in hopes of finding more beer to survive off of.

"He will listen.." you mumble to yourself, scrolling down the page to find different 'Swedish Stereotypes'.

It was or maybe would be the only way to get his attention. You tried before, but it never seemed to work. You'd ask him some questions and maybe have a chance at finally talking to the quiet man.

"Oh Berwald!" you called over, seeing him step in the doorway with Tino and Lukas. "Do you have any time?"

He only nodded his head and grunted, giving you the impression he didn't really care. Biting you lip, you wondered if Matias was right.

"Where's the idiot?" Lukas asked, holding two brown bags mostly filled with beer inside. Probably for Matias.

"In the kitchen." you giggled, watching Lukas and Tino make their way into the kitchen.

Turning, you saw Berwald taking off his coat and scarf.

"What do you want to see me about?" he asked in his usual deep voice.

Staring at him for a few moments-totally lost in a dream-you suddenly blushed and nodded.

"This way!"

Taking him to the computer, you turned on the screen and waiting for the site you were on to pop up. Happily, you were right you last left off.

"I have a few questions to want to ask you." watching him only nod in response.

"Okay..umm..are all Swedish sexy, tall, with blond hair and blue eyes?"

Looking at his expression he seemed practically normal, but who knew what was going on in his head.

"Are you stereotyping my country (Name)?"

You loved it when he said your name, but then you froze.

"Nonono!" you cried, feeling a little bit bad you never told him. "That's the point! I want your opinion and stuff on them.."

He grunted. "Fine."

With that, you continued.

"Swedish are good at English?"

He shrugs.

"Ja, I guess so."

He didn't really seem to care now..which began to make you feel sad. Maybe he was just answer quickly and getting it out of the way so you'd leave him alone. Then the next question stuck to you.

"Most Swedish people are friendly, but difficult to get to know on a..deeper level."

That was totally like Berwald sometimes. Actually not even sometimes..most of the time!

"Look at me (Name)." ahhhh he said your name again.

You turned to see him shaking his head and giving almsot a pitiful look.

"What is the point of this?" he asked bluntly, causing you to nearly burst into tears.

"I..I just wanted you to care." you mumbled, not noticing his reading over your shoulder.

"(Name)."

You looked to see how close he was and nearly fainted.

"Read the last one."

Turning, you began to read under his orders.

"The ideal Swede with a family is called a "Svenson". Svensons are known to have 2-3 kids, a golden retriever, a house with a nice yard, a car, and even an RV to go camping often-"

"(Name)?"

You turned again to meet his eyes, giving you a soft look.

Taking your hand, he then pulled you into a tight hug, which was very unlike him.

"It's hard to be with people sometimes." he said. "Not you. I like you."

Smiling at him, and lightly kissed his cheek, causing a slight blush to rise on both your cheeks.

"I should hope so." you laughed, linking arms with him for no reason.

"There's one other thing." he replied, suddenly taking your lips in a soft kiss.

Different thoughts ran through your head. Maybe he's leading you on..he's never like this. you thought.

Once you parted, he looked deep into your eyes..and narly cracked a smile.

"Would you like to be the wife of my "Svenson"?"

"Are you serious?"

He looked down, as if he failed.

"Of course I would!" you smiled and held him tightly. Of course he held you back, but you were really the only person he could be himself around, sometimes he even acted differently.

He was lucky to have someone there at world meetings from then on, and even at home when everyone was away or acting dumb. Just like he was always there for you.
Not stereotyping the actual country or people! ^^ Just a reader insert! The 'stereotypes' were found online.
